De Luz Hotel is located 14 kilometers from the village of Las Terrenas, in the idyllic village called El Limon of the Samana Peninsula in the northeast of the Dominican Republic.

The trip by car from the capital of Santo Domingo takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Alternatively you can fly aboard aircraft, from the La Isabela airport (near Santo Domingo) to Portillo airport, just 10 minutes from our hotel.

 

The trip from Puerto Plata or Santiago takes about 2 1/2 hours.
For our guests from the new "Samana International Airport" El Catey (AZS), the taxi ride takes only 40 minutes. With regard to the possibility of transport in the Dominican Republic, please contact us without problem.
